Small-Town Learning with a Personal, Caring Touch
The Refuge Academic Growth
The Refuge Girl’s Academy personalizes each girl’s schoolwork to help with academic repair and improvement. Resident girls can study online courses in our secure campus classroom, assisted by an experienced tutor and on-site staff. Academic credits earned can be transferred to a girl’s school back home through the small-town high school here in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Girls can also take Advanced Placement classes online in their junior and senior years and earn credits for college prep.

Life and Ministry Options
Another option for students of The Refuge includes taking classes online from Global University. Graduate girls who want to serve in Christian ministries can receive certification (Assembly of God) after completing the 12-month School of Ministry course. This outstanding certificate will provide students to work for ministries anywhere in the world!
Valuable Internship Experience
Graduate girls can also choose to work at The Refuge as interns after completing the Teen Challenge prep course. The maturity and life lessons that a real-world job brings is immeasurable, and students can work at a number of small-town options- including The Refuge’s very own coffee truck.
